Sisters and Brothers—
As we continue to celebrate Christmas with family and friends and, beginning this week, face the end of 2020 and the opportunity that comes with a new year, I hope that we all do so with feelings of gratitude, optimism and faith.
We are all made up, in large part, of our experiences and how we respond to those experiences. Every year is a new opportunity to build personal faith, develop stronger social bonds, maximize opportunities that come from having physical bodies and learn as much as we can about the world around us.
As I continue to learn more about the Children and Youth program, the more I’ve become convinced that it should be call the “Everyone” program. Personal improvement plans that focus on the four areas (spiritual, intellectual, physical and social) will benefit each of us as we try to be better prepared to enhance our lives and face the challenges that come our way.
I encourage each of you to look at the materials for the program and find ways to integrate them in your lives, no matter your age.
We have our last sacrament meeting of 2020 today and we welcome in-person sacrament attendance for families and individuals whose last names begin H through P. Others are authorized to have worthy priesthood holders of the appropriate office perform the sacrament at home and can view sacrament meeting at the link below:

We also look forward to attending Relief Society, elders quorum, young women’s and Aaronic priesthood classes after sacrament meeting.
As we turn the calendar to 2021, we will move our sacrament meeting time to 10:30 a.m. We will continue to plan on keeping the same format for meetings, meaning we will continue to divide the ward in thirds for in-person attendance of sacrament.
I love you all and pray for your continued faith and prosperity. Please let your class or quorum leaders know of any burdens our ward members can lighten.
