Sisters and Brothers –
On Thursday, the Utah Area Presidency released updated information about Covid-related adjustments to worship services in our area. After reading the letter (which you can find here) and consulting with the stake presidency, we’re making the following adjustments to our worship services beginning tomorrow, Feb. 7, 2021
I.
We will switch to a two-week rotating schedule for in-person sacrament meeting (instead of three groups, like we’ve been doing). The first group will meet tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. and will be families whose last names begin with letters between A and L. This is possible due to sacrament meeting attendance being raised to 150 (from 99).
Other families and individuals will be invited to participate in sacrament meeting via broadcast. The broadcast link is found below:
http://mywebcast.churchofjesuschrist.org/Events/spanishforkutahriverstake
If you find the above link to not be functioning for our sacrament meeting broadcast, the backup link that will be used instead (if there is a general outage) will be the following: https://zoom.us/j/95010101538?pwd=SStkajd2UEJWRzNhWmVrRDVBY056dz09
Worthy priesthood holders of the appropriate office are authorized to administer the sacrament in their homes after the sacrament broadcast. Please reach out to a member of the elders quorum presidency or bishopric with questions.
II.
Attendance may be increased from simply immediate family for baptisms, funerals and wedding receptions. The limit on attendance at stake baptisms will again be 20. Please counsel with the Relief Society president, elders quorum president or a member of the bishopric with questions concerning attendance at funerals and weddings.
III.
Presidency, bishopric, and council meetings may be held in person, if safety protocols are implemented.
I look forward to seeing more of you tomorrow morning — and in coming weeks. Please let me or a member of the ward council know if you have any specific questions about the new guidelines.
